Lockdown at Gregory School lifted; suspect not found

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Gregory School was placed on a soft lockdown on Monday, March 27, during a Pima County Sheriff's Department investigation in the area.

According to Dep. Ryan Inglett, the lockdown was lifted at about 1:15 p.m.

Deputies were searching for a burglary suspect who robbed a home near the school on North Craycroft Road near East Fort Lowell Road. The suspect remains on the loose.

The school went into a soft lockdown as a precautionary measure.
