TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Rincon-University High School boys volleyball team might only hold a #11 ranking in Conference 6A but right now they are top big school squad in Southern Arizona.

The Rangers rallied on the road, after dropping the opening set, Thursday night to beat Flowing Wells 3-1 (19-25, 25-17, 25-19 and 25-12).

Ben Anhoury led the way for RUHS (11-2) with 14 kills. Diego Silva had 10 kills for the Rangers as setter Joey Cable dished out 35 assists.

Flowing Wells (9-12) competes in Conference 5A and is currently unbeaten (5-0) in division play.

Rincon’s two losses this season have come in conference play to Red Mountain and Gilbert.

The Rangers, Tucson High and Sunnyside are the lone Southern Arizona teams in Conference 6A.
