Pedestrian seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash in downtown Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A pedestrian was seriously hurt Friday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident in downtown Tucson, authorities said.

Sgt. Kim Bay, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said the accident happened on West Congress Street, just west of North Church Avenue.

Bay said Congress was down to one lane, but reopened just after 6pm..
