TUCSON, AZ - The Arizona Wildcats completed a three-game sweep of USC on Sunday afternoon at Hi Corbett Field, topping the Trojans 8-1 in front of 3,658 fans.
Rio Gomez tossed five scoreless innings to earn his third win of the season and Kyle Lewis and Louis Boyd each had a pair of hits.
The end result was a sweep of the Trojans (15-11, 4-5) which moved Arizona (20-7, 5-4) to 16-0 at home this season.
It was Arizona's first sweep of USC since 2013 and marked the first time since 2005 that the Wildcats won the series against both UCLA and USC in the same season.
Arizona will now host ASU on Tuesday night in a non-conference affair.
