TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a fraud case.

The suspect is described as an Asian man in his 30s or 40s, with short dark hair and a thin build.  He was last seen wearing a white polo with the number three on the sleeve, with dark-colored pants, and sneakers.

According to PCSD the incident began on Oct. 25, 2016, when deputies with the Rincon District received a report of fraud. Staff at a Vantage West Credit Union called to report a member's debit card information had been stolen and used to purchase $2,000 worth of merchandise at the Apple Store at 2095 East Skyline Drive.

Deputies learned the money had already been refunded to the member whose card was used, but detectives with the Fraud Unit began investigating the incident. They requested surveillance footage from the Apple Store and pinpointed the suspect, but need help identifying him.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911, if they wish to remain anonymous they can call 88-CRIME, or text and go online to http://88crime.org/.
