Portion of Grant Road closed after crash damages power pole

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A portion of Grant Road is still closed Monday after a crash damaged multiple power poles on Sunday.

Crews with Tucson Electric Power are still working to replace three poles that were damaged in the crash.

The closure was set to last until Sunday evening, but has been extended to around 1 p.m. Monday.

The driver of the car involved in the crash was taken to the hospital, according to Sgt. Pete Dugan with the Tucson Police Department.
