Authorities searching for suspect who shot at Pima County deputy

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Authorities are searching for a suspect who shot at a Pima County deputy Monday night, April 10.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on North Flanwill Boulevard, near East Fort Lowell and North Country Club roads. 

A deputy tried to make a traffic stop and the suspect fled, went down a dead end road and crashed.

The suspect then fired at least one shot at deputies before fleeing the scene on foot, according to the PCSD.

Deputies did not return fire and no injuries were reported.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 911.
