TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Tucson favorite is stepping up to make an longtime tradition a little sweeter.

Eegee's is promising to bring free treats to the local high school's prom that gets the most retweets on Twitter.

Here's how it works...

Eegee's has already tweeted each high school in the running.

If you go to that high school, simply head to Eegee's TWITTER PAGE and retweet your school. You have until 12 p.m. on Friday, April 14.

The results are already rolling in.

As of Wednesday morning, Tucson High Magnet School is in the lead with 1,700 retweets, followed closely behind by Cienega High School with 1,200 retweets.

The competition is quickly becoming the talk of prom...

Of course, we already knew how much Tucson high schoolers love their Eegee's.

Take this teen's senior pictures, for example.

May the odds be ever in your favor...
