TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Arizona Wildcats freshman guard Rawle Alkins has decided to test the waters of the NBA Draft.

The Pac-12 All Freshman Team member announced the decision on social media on Wednesday, April 12.

Alkins, who is from Brooklyn, NY, said he will not sign with an agent.

Three other Wildcats have declared for the draft: freshman forward Lauri Markkanen, freshman guard Kobi Simmons, and sophomore center Chance Comanche.

Alkins and Comanche have indicated they will not sign with agents which allows for them to go through the league's pre-draft process, acquire all the necessary information and then make the decision whether to remain eligible for the NBA Draft or return to school.

Early entry underclassmen must make their final decision on or before June 13th which is ten days before the draft.

Markkanen and Simmons have indicated they will sign with agents and thus will forfeit any remaining college eligibility.
