Fatal crash closes Interstate 10 east near Sacaton rest area

CASA GRANDE, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Update: Eastbound traffic is exiting at Casa Blanca Road and taking SR 587, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. 

Eastbound I-10 is closed just north of Casa Grande at milepost 181 near the Sacaton rest area, according to ADOT.  

The crash involved a single vehicle with a fatality, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. 

There is no word on when the area will reopen.  Drivers should avoid the area if possible, and can expect delays.

You just know what to look for after a while," he said, explaining driver habits and behavior. "I've seen it from where they're with their hands on the wheel, looking forward, and no eye contact, to waving or making too much contact.
