Truly Nolen founder dies at 89

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Truly David Nolen, founder of Tucson-based pest control company Truly Nolen, has died at the age of 89.

The company said Nolen died Tuesday, April 18, at his home in Naples, Florida.

Nolen is survived by wife Vickie Taylor Nolen, eight children, 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Nolen started Truly Nolen of America, which is based in Tucson, and Truly Nolen International, based in Orlando.

Truly Nolen has 320 offices in 63 countries.

"Truly had many tremendous personal and professional accomplishments and earned many awards throughout his life," the company said in a news release. "His favorite times were often spent on a boat, piloting a plane, or behind the wheel of a beautiful car."

A private service will be held Friday, April 21, at Temple Shalom in Naples.
