TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A house fire Sunday morning, April 23, has left one man without a home and three cats dead.

Tucson Fire says a neighbor in the 5600 block of East Baker Street called 9-1-1 to report smoke coming from the house along with water coming from the front door.  Firefighters found flames in the kitchen and put them out.  The person living inside got out all right, but firefighters found the cats dead during a search of the home.  They also encountered two large dogs in the back that were not hurt.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  The home has been condemned.
