VIDEO: Mentor watch party goes bonkers when hometown QB Mitch Trubisky picked No. 2

MENTOR, OH (WOIO) -

Mentor native Mitch Trubisky was selected No. 2 overall in Thursday's NFL Draft.

He is now a Chicago Bear (he played his college ball at UNC).

There was a watch party in Mentor during the draft, and Cleveland 19 was there when the quarterback was selected.

Needless to say, his fellow northeast Ohioans were excited for Mr. Trubisky.

Many suspected Trubisky might be taken by the Browns, who selected DE Myles Garrett from Texas A&M at No. 1 overall.
