6-year-old boy found dead hours after Amber Alert issued

JACKSON, MS (WMC) -

A boy in Mississippi was found dead hours after he was the focus of an Amber Alert.

Mississippi Bureau of Investigation launched the search Thursday morning, after Kingston Frazier, 6, was seen in a stolen car taken from a Kroger on I-55 North in Jackson.

MBI agents canceled the Amber Alert saying the boy had been found. Soon after, he was found dead with a single gunshot wound.
