Sahuarita woman killed in single car crash

SAHUARITA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Sahuarita Police Department is reporting a woman, identified as 63-year-old Maria Paquette has died after her vehicle was involved in a crash. 

SPD officers responded at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 to the report of a crash near the 15500 block of South Rancho Sahuarita Boulevard.  Paramedics were called to the scene, but sadly Paquette was pronounced dead at the scene. 

An investigation shows that she had been traveling northbound on South Rancho Sahuarita Boulevard and lost control of her vehicle.  According to SPD the cause of the crash is still under investigation.  

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call 911 and ask to speak with an on-duty officer or to call the Sahuarita Police Department Tip Line at (520) 445-7847 and leave a message on how to contact them.
