TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A woman was shot on the east side of Tucson early Friday morning, city police said.
Sgt. Pete Dugan, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said the woman was shot in the arm and her injuries were not life threatening.
Dugan said two people have been detained in the shooting, which happened near the intersection of Golf Links and Kolb.
The shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence and those involved may have known each other, according to Dugan.
