TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Tucson man who worked in a group foster home has been sentenced on child porn charges.

Taylor Ray Freeman, 28, was handed a sentence of more than eight years on Monday, Jan. 29.

Freeman, who pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of child porn, will have to register as a sex offender for life.

Authorities said Freeman was distributing sexually explicit images of children online and seeking to trade for new images.

Investigators said they found more than 440 images and videos of child porn on Freeman's cellphone, along with non-pornographic images of some of the children in his care.
