UPDATE: PCSD releases names of men found dead in west-side home

PIMA COUNTY, AZ ( Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said two men, identified as 45-year-old Carlos Moses Mendoza and 48-year-old Javier Chacon Gomez, were found with obvious signs of trauma in a home west of Tucson.

Shortly after noon Thursday, Feb. 22, deputies responded to the report of a man down inside a home in the 2700 block of South Desert Rose Drive.  

According to PCSD when deputies arrived at the scene they found the two men dead inside the home. 

PCSD detectives have taken over the investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
