Emily Biehl is a storyteller and avid goat lover who joined the KOLD team in February of 2018. She is a proud SoCal native, from a small town called Rancho Santa Margarita that's only about 5 miles wide.
Emily is a Chapman University alumna who earned a B.F.A. in Television and Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Leadership Studies, merging her love of news and constantly meeting new people. During her time at Chapman Emily served as executive producer of the university's newscast along with working as an intern at the assignment desk at KNBC and producing for the local access channel. She considers her experiences and mentors during her time at Chapman to have given her the knowledge and passion for the news world.
She comes to Tucson after having worked in southern Oregon as a weekday and weekend multimedia journalist covering everything from homicides to long lost historical artifacts found at random in the Cascade-Siskiyou mountains.
Emily is a beach girl who also loves to bake, collage, and above all, spend her time with her family, her friends, and her adorable dog, yoduh. She is always looking for a good place to eat so feel free to tweet her @emilyrbiehl with any recommendations!
