UPDATE: Power restored to more than 1,000 in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - More than 1,000 TEP customers had their power restored early Wednesday, Feb. 28.

According to the TEP map, power was restored to most by 6:15 a.m.

The outages, concentrated on the south side of town, happened when equipment was damaged by the winter storm that rolled through the area.
