Response from Wilhelmsen lawyer on extortion, other claims from Rich Rodriguez

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A three-page statement from Augustine B. Jimenez III, the lawyer for Melissa Wilhelmsen and her husband, was released on Friday, March 2.

According to the statement it was done in response to 'mischaracterizations and false claims' in Rich Rodriguez's response to his client's Notice of Claim.

"We reiterate that my clients did not wish to have any of this information made public, and they are only responding publicly now because those at
fault continue to cause further injury by making publicly disparaging false comments" stated Jimenez. "Melissa looks forward to having her day in court."
