TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Deandre Ayton posted his first 20-20 game Saturday in what was likely his final game at McKale Center.

The freshman center scored 26 points and grabbed 20 rebounds as 19th ranked Arizona pulled away late for a 66-54 Senior Day win over California.

It's believed to be the first 20-20 game by a Wildcat since Al Fleming scored 22 points and grabbed 23 rebounds in a late December game against Old Dominion back in 1975

The Wildcats (24-7, 14-4) with the victory clinch their fifth regular season Pac-12 Championship in the nine years that Sean Miller has been head coach. This is the third outright conference championship of the Miller-era

Rawle Alkins added 15 points for UA.

As for the UA seniors, Parker Jackson-Cartwright scored eight points, Dusan Ristic had six, Talbot Denny scored one point and Keanu Pinder did not score but did grab two rebounds in eight minutes off the bench.

The Golden Bears (8-23, 2-16) lost for a seventh straight game.

Cal will be the 12th seed in the Pac-12 Tournament while the Wildcats will have a first round bye as the #1 seed.
