Roadrunners split in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, OH - Zach Dalpe scored in overtime Sunday to give Cleveland a 3-2 win over visting Tucson.

The Roadrunners (30-17-4-1) split their two-game series with the Monsters (19-29-4-3).

Tucson won 5-1 on Friday night and remain in first place in the Pacific Division ahead of second place and rival San Diego.

Carter Camper became the first player in franchise history to record five points in a game and Mario Kempe recorded the first hat trick of the season.

P.C. Labrie, acquired Monday from the Nashville Predators, scored his first goal as a Roadrunner on Sunday. Dylan Strome tallied his 22nd of the season.

Adin Hill played both games in net for the Roadrunners. He had 24 saves in the victory and 31 in the loss.

Tucson went 1-for-2 on the power play while Cleveland finished 2-for-6.

The Roadrunners finish 2-1 on their three-game road trip and return home to Tucson Arena on Friday night to take on Texas at 7 p.m.
