UPDATE: SILVER ALERT canceled as 81-year-old man is located

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - SILVER Alert has been canceled as 81-year-old Harold Beatty has been located.

According to Sgt. Pete Dugan, spokesman with the Tucson Police Department, Beatty is in fair condition and is being checked by medical personnel before returning to his home.

Beatty, who has dementia, walked away from his home on Thursday morning, March 8. He had last been seen in the 5200 block of East Third Street, near Speedway Boulevard and Rosemont.
