Fiesta Grande street fair coming to an end

The Barrio Hollywood neighborhood announced that its Fiesta Grande street fair will be coming to an end. The Barrio Hollywood neighborhood announced that its Fiesta Grande street fair will be coming to an end.
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Spring time in the Barrio Hollywood neighborhood will be different this year after an announcement made by the community Friday morning.

The Fiesta Grande street fair will be coming to an end, according to a news release from the Fiesta Grande of Barrio Hollywood Board.

"We have sincerely appreciated all of the support given to us by the City of Tucson, our sponsors, our vendors, our board partners, our volunteers and the locally owned businesses and residents of Barrio Hollywood," said the Board.

The street fair, which celebrated local culture and history through music, food, floats, and mural projects, ran for more than 15 years.

The Board said that they will keep [residents] updated on possible new events in the region for 2019.

    The Arizona Game and Fish Department has moved a bear to a new home, according to the department's tweet Sunday morning. It stated a young female bear was spotted on Mount Lemmon. Officials think it may have been the one on Wednesday near a youth camp.
