Arizona Baseball wins 3rd straight

TUCSON, AZ - Arizona remained perfect at home this season, beating North Dakota State 9-4 Saturday afternoon in front of 2,543 fans at Hi Corbett Field.

Junior right-hander Michael Flynn (2-0) pitched five innings, allowing just one run on two hit to move to 8-0 on his career.

Cal Stevenson paced the offense, going 3 for 5 with one run scored and an RBI in the win.

Arizona has now scored 35 runs over its last three games.

The Cats will go for the sweep Sunday. Left-hander Randy Labaut will get the start. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m.
