TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Arizona Wildcats were given a No. 4 seed on Sunday afternoon during the NCAA Tournament's Selection Show. The Wildcats will face No. 13 seed Buffalo on Thursday in Boise, Idaho. The game will tip-off around 6:40pm and will be televised by CBS.

The winner of that game will face the winner of Kentucky-Davidson on Saturday.

Arizona is coming off a run in the Pac-12 Tournament which saw them cut down the nets for the third time in four seasons. The Cats, led by freshman star Deandre Ayton, pulled away from the USC Trojans in the 2nd half with a couple of highlight-reel dunks and strong defense.

The UA enters the NCAA Tournament winning seven of its last eight games, with the lone loss coming at Oregon when they did not have head coach Sean Miller or guard Allonzo Trier available. The Cats reached the Sweet 16 in last year's tournament before falling to Xavier.

Buffalo is led by head coach Nate Oats, who is in his third season at the school. The Bulls went 26-8 over the season and won the Mid-American conference tournament.

This is their third NCAA Tournament trip in the last four seasons (0-2).
