GLENDALE, AZ (Tucson News Now) - According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford intends to sign with the Arizona Cardinals this week.
The Cardinals have been in search of a new franchise quarterback since longtime player Carson Palmer retired at the end of last season.
Despite the Bradford acquisition, it's still possible that the Cardinals will draft a rookie quarterback to train alongside the veteran player. Prospects include Heisman winners Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield.
Bradford has previously played for the St. Lois Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and Minnesota Vikings.
