Crash into power pole causes road closure on NW side

ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Sheriff's Department has closed a road on Tucson's northwest side because of an electrical hazard.

West Overton Road is closed in both directions at La Cresta Road, west of North La Cholla Boulevard.

The Sheriff's department says a vehicle crashed into a power pole. Drivers need to avoid the area.

    Two inmates escaped from a federal prison camp in Pima County Sunday afternoon, according to a release from the Federal Bureau of Prison. It stated the two men were discovered missing at approximately 3:40 in the afternoon.
