TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson High's Neysia Howard and Sahuaro's Trayvion White-Austin were both multiple event winners at the Willie Williams Track and Field Classic this weekend at the UA's Drachman Stadium.
Howard for the second straight year pulled off a quad winning the 100m (12.17), 200m (24.85) and long jump (17-05.50) events as well as running anchor-leg on the Badgers winning 4x100 relay team.
The Badgers set the highest mark in the state in the 4x100 for this young season (47.55).
Other notable girls winners included Tucson's Ajaysha Lewis, who took the 100m hurdles in a meet record 15.26 seconds.
Sahuaro's Nikita Sampson won the shot put event (36-07.75) while Canyon del Oro's Quinn Williams was first place in the triple jump (35-03).
White-Austin won the 100m (10.95), 200m (21.77) and long jump (23-04).
Safford's Jacob Fox took first place in the boys' triple jump (43-01.50).
