WGOLF: Arizona wins Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational, Moore earns individual title

PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO - Arizona won the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational this weekend shooting 875 (+11) and beating Kennesaw State by 17 strokes.

Junior Haley Moore won the individual competition, shooting 210 (-6). The victory was Moore's second of the season and the third of her career.

This was the team's first victory of the season and the third individual of the campaign. Moore's third career victory ties her for tenth all time in UA history with Natalie Gulbis (2000-01) and Leta Lindley (1990-94).

The Wildcats will next be in action at the PING ASU Invitational at Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz. on March 23-25.
