PCSD searching for a suspect in Circle K robbery

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Detectives with the Robbery/Assault Unit of the Pima County Sheriff's Department are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man suspected of robbing a Circle K on March 1. 

According to a PCSD news release, at 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 1 deputies responded to a call of a theft at the Circle K at 3102 East Benson Highway.  When deputies arrived at the scene they learned that a man had entered the store, selected several items and took them to the register.  According to the release after the items were rung up, the suspect displayed a gun and took both the cash and the items at the register.  The suspect then left the store in an unknown direction. 

He is described as Hispanic in his 30s or 40s with brown hair, brown eyes and a large build. He has a goatee and a tattoo above his right eyebrow, last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark pants and an orange baseball cap. 

Anyone with information is asked to call 911. Those who want to remain anonymous can submit their tip via text, phone, or by going to 88CRIME.org.
