TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Tucson family of eight is looking for a place to stay Monday night, after the room where their boiler was caught fire.

The Tucson Fire Department received a call about a house fire around 6:35 p.m. Monday, in the 3000 block of East Proctor Vista, near Country Club and 36th. Crews arrived at the scene and saw smoke from the roof and a small amount of flames, it took them only five minutes to control the fire.

According to TFD the residents were not inside at the time of the fire, but called 911 to say that their home was on fire.

There were no reported injuries, to the family or firefighters and there was no damage to neighboring homes.

At this time the cause of the fire is still being investigated by TFD Fire Investigators.  It appears that this fire could have been electrical in nature, but the investigation is ongoing.
