TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The man convicted of killing two in the Tucson area in 2013 was found dead in prison and his death is being investigated as a homicide.

The Arizona Department of Corrections said Charlie M. Wooden, 34, was found unresponsive in his cell at a Buckeye prison Monday night.

Investigators said they have identified potential suspects in Wooden's death.

Wooden was serving a 22-year sentence for the shooting deaths of Pluma Blanca Cazares, 23, and Vanessa Butler, 22.
