NOGALES, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Nogales man who once took a youth baseball team to a national title is facing drug charges after his arrest on March 16.

Jorge Armando Guerrero was arrested for possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics for sale.

Guerrero is the former head coach of Nogales' Little League baseball team that won the Little League World Intermediate World Series in 2014. According to the Nogales Little League, he has not been associated with the team for more than two years.

After a search warrant was executed at the 400 Block of Calle Culiacan, HIDTA Task Force Detectives and HSI Nogales Special Agents discovered 10 grams of cocaine on Guerrero, according to police.

Guerrero was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail and released on March 17, after posting a $500 bond.
