Arizona wins PING ASU Invitational

TEMPE, AZ -

Arizona won the PING ASU Women’s Golf Invitational on Sunday after shooting a season-low round of 277 (-11) in the final round and finishing the tournament at 12-under par. 

The victory is UA's second consecutive tournament win after earning first place at the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational last week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. 

Junior Haley Moore finished tied for second at 6-under par after posting a final round score of 66 (-6). 

Moore now has four Top-10 finishes on the season including two victories at the Golfweek Conference Challenge and the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational. 

Freshman Yu-Sang Hou won the Ann Votik Award as the low freshman in the tournament after tying for second at 6-under par.

The Wildcats will next be in action at the Silverado Shootout in Napa, Calif. at the Silverado Golf Course on April 8-10.
