TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Tucson Unified School District Governing Board has decided to postpone the vote on funding for Tucson Magnet High School's turf replacement.

According to TUSD Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Trujillo the vote was moved to an April 10 meeting.

Excavation at the football field over the last few days may have impacted the scope of work for the proposed contract.

The initial budget TUSD was due to vote on during the Tuesday, March 27 meeting was for $581,000, however that number may be increasing.

Dr. Trujillo initially stated the damaged field would be replaced after graduation, but that may also change in the new scope of work.
