Man killed in motorcycle crash on Drexel

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday, April 3, in a crash on Drexel Road in Tucson, authorities said.

Sgt. Kim Bay, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said Louis LeCompte Jr. died at the scene.

The TPD said LeCompte, 65, was riding west on Drexel Road and passed several signs warning about the approaching road closure.

LeCompte, who was not wearing a helmet, struck a concrete barrier and was thrown from his motorcycle.
