TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Police are searching for an individual linked to a bike theft earlier this year.

On February 8, Pima County Sheriff's deputies responded to the Tucson Endurance Performance Center after reports of an alarm.

While no one was in the store at the time, the owner discovered two bicycles and three pairs of sunglasses had been stolen.

A month later, on March 8, one of the bikes was found when a BICAS employee noticed one of their bikes submitted for maintenance matched the description and serial number of the one that was stolen.

According to a news release, the customer who brought the bike in was informed that the police were being called and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Deputies are asking for the public's help in locating a Caucasian male in his 20's with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a backwards baseball cap, black t-shirt, blue jeans,, red tennis shoes, and a backpack.

The second bike and sunglasses have yet to be located.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or leave an anonymous tip at 88-CRIME.org.
