MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

It may only be April, and the Fourth of July is only a blip on the summer radar, the Town of Marana is looking for vendors for the Marana Star Spangled Spectacular.

Marana's Star Spangled Spectacular is the largest organized Fourth of July celebration in southern Arizona, with more than 15,000 attendees and 40 vendors located throughout the Crossroads at Silverbell District Park.

The deadline for vendor applications is April 23. Interested in applying click here: http://www.maranaaz.gov/vendors

Vendors are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and by the number of vendors needed to best support the anticipated crowd.  According to a Town of Marana news release, filling out the request form does not ensure a spot, nor will there be exclusivity.

If a vendor is approved, Town officials will provide additional information on acquiring a Marana business license or proof of 501(c)3 status. If a food vendor, they will need to have a Pima County Health Permit. Insurance requirements must also be met.

Event features include live music, inflatables, beer garden, playground, food, military vehicle display, and fireworks.

To accommodate transportation needs, the Town of Marana will offer shuttle pickups throughout Continental Ranch. More information will be available closer to the event date.
