PCSD looking for Circle K robbery suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Detectives with the Robbery/Assault Unit are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in an armed robbery. 

According to a PCSD release, the incident happened on Saturday, March 21 at 8:30 p.m. at a Circle K at 9810 South Nogales Highway, when deputies responded to the report of an armed robbery. 

The male suspect entered the store and brought an item to the counter, where he produced a gun and fired a round into the ceiling, before demanding money.  According to the release, after the suspect got an undisclosed amount of money he left the store in a dark colored vehicle of an unknown make and model.  

According to the clerk, the suspect had also entered the store several hours before the robbery and shoplifted cigarettes.  

The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his 20s or 30s with short brown hair, small build with light facial hair.  He was last seen wearing an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball hat, with a white long-sleeved dress shirt and black pants.
