Police investigate attempted carjacking near UA campus

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Officers with the University of Arizona and Tucson police departments are investigating an attempted carjacking by a man armed with a knife on Friday, April 13.

The incident happened near Arizona Stadium on East Sixth Street.

The suspect described as Hispanic, approximately 30 years old. He was seen running south from the area.

Tucson News Now has a crew headed to the scene.
