HURST, TX (Tucson News Now) -

A house explosion captured on dashcam video in Texas earlier this month depicts a scene straight out of an action movie.

The Hurst Police Department said an SUV slammed into a home when the vehicle's brakes failed.

Gas began building up and ignited, just as officers were approaching the house.

As seen in the video, the explosion destroyed part of the building and sent the officers scrambling for cover.

According to the HPD, three people inside the home were injured, one of them critically. Two officers suffered minor injuries, but all victims are expected to recover.

The driver was arrested and charged for driving without a license, according to the HPD.
