TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Court documents released Monday, April 23, reveal new details about a homicide last week in the Foothills.

The body of 71-year-old Robert Belman was found in his home in the 5400 block of East Calle Barril on Thursday, April 19.

According to the interim complaint, Belman had been restrained to a chair with belts and neckties. The house had been ransacked and items including a TV, stereo, computer and surveillance cameras were missing.

Authorities on Friday, April 20, arrested 34-year-old Frank Eugene Martinez Jr.

Martinez was found with Belman's truck, according to investigators.

Martinez was booked into the Pima County Jail and charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, second-degree burglary, and unlawful use of means of transportation.

Deputy Cody Gress, a spokesman for the PCSD, said deputies were called to Belman's home for a welfare check.

Deputies said they found the door to the home open and Belman, the homeowner, dead inside with obvious signs of trauma.
