UPDATE: Two suspects arrested in Wednesday's fatal shooting on Speedway

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Tucson Police Department is reporting that two suspects in the fatal shooting at a hotel on Speedway Wednesday night have been arrested. 

Detectives from the TPD Gang Unit and officers from Operations Division East worked through the night and identified one suspect, as 33-year-old Cassius Brandon Mason.  According to the release early Thursday morning, April 19 TPD's SWAT team located and detained Mason without incident.  

After further investigation, TPD was able to identify a second suspect 29-year-old Jose Angel Alvarez.  According to TPD Alvarez had already been booked into the Pima County Jail on Wednesday for unrelated charges.  

Both Mason and Jimenez face the following charges: 1st Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, Kidnapping and Prohibited Possessor
