Christian Robinson’s two-out single off Arizona reliever Zach Stone in the ninth plated Nico Hoerner and Kyle Stowers with the go-ahead runs. Maverick Handley scored on an error.

Reliever Tylor Megill (1-3) took the loss for Arizona (23-14, 6-8).

The Wildcats had taken the lead in the bottom of the 8th inning on a three-run inside-the-park home run by Jacob Blas.

Alfonso Rivas finished 2-for-5, including a seventh inning home run that tied the game at three.

Stanford (29-5, 11-3) will look to sweep the series Sunday afternoon at noon.
