COCHISE COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

All roads are now open in the Carr Fire area and fire personnel are in the mop-up process, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.

What began as a possible structure fire has spread to become a wildland fire, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.

The fire, which burned nearly 287 acres began on private property around 1:51 p.m. Thursday, April 26. CCSO responded after receiving a call to assist with the fire.

According to CCSO, two teenage boys have been cited for reckless burning after they admitted to deputies that they started the original fire by setting a shopping cart on fire.

Earlier State Route 92 had been closed in each direction from Ramsey Canyon Road to Hereford Road, as crews from Fry Fire, the Forest Service and other agencies worked to put out the fire.
