TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Some good news came to the Arizona Wildcat's basketball program Friday morning.
Samford graduate transfer Justin Coleman announced on Twitter that he will play for Arizona next season.
The point guard was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and played for both the University of Alabama and Samford University before deciding to transfer.
While the team hopes to sign a few more players, Coleman's commitment is a glimmer of hope for Arizona basketball fans.
After a tumultuous second half of their season, the Wildcats had no incoming recruits signed for the 2018-2019 season.
Now, after more than a month on the recruiting trail, Coach Sean Miller has four commits for next season including guard Devonaire Doutrive, forward Omar Thielemans, and forward Ryan Luther.
