TUCSON, AZ - Ivy Davis hit a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning, four of her career-high five RBI, and Arizona put the finishing touches on its third conference sweep this season, run-ruling Oregon State, 9-1, in six innings in front of 2,502 fans at Hillenbrand Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Davis' grand slam was the first of her career and fourth home run in Arizona's last 10 games. It marked Arizona's first grand slam of 2018.
Jessie Harper also homered in the game, a solo shot to lead off the bottom of the sixth. The sophomore tied Alyssa Palomino atop the Pac-12 lead in home runs (15). UA hit two home runs in every game of the series to bring its season total to 65.
The offensive outburst supported another Taylor McQuillin (21-9) gem. She allowed one run on five hits with eight strikeouts and two walks in the victory.
Up next, Arizona (35-13, 11-10 Pac-12) hosts Grand Canyon next weekend, beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday at 4 p.m. MST.
