TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Thousands of southern Arizona students have another day off of school today, as educators continue to walkout and advocate for
higher pay and more resources.
This marks the third day of protesting for the teachers and support staff as they make their case to legislators.
In Tucson, educators and Red for Ed supporters are meeting at 400 West Congress around 7 A.m. to fill the sidewalks. Their goal is to catch the eye of morning commuters in the downtown area, in an effort to garner more public support for their cause.
